Determination under paragraph 8(2) of Part 2 of schedule 14 (Cremations) of The Coronavirus Act (C.7) 2020

The Scottish Ministers in exercise of the powers conferred on them by paragraph 8(2) of Part 2 of schedule 14 of the Coronavirus Act 2020 (“the 2020 Act”) DETERMINE that—

the determination made by them under paragraph 8(1) of schedule 14 of the 2020 Act on 8 April 2020 which suspended Section 49 (offences relating to applications for cremation) of the Burial and Cremation (Scotland) Act 2016 in relation to the signing of the declaration in an application for cremation made under section 48(1) of the 2020 Act in accordance with the Cremation (Scotland) Regulations 2019

is revoked with effect from 09:00 on 22 July 2021.
