Cooperative working towards net-zero healthcare systems
The Scottish Government has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Government of Galicia in the field of cooperation and promotion of net-zero healthcare systems.
Introduction
Working towards our net zero healthcare goal, Scotland undertakes a wide range of work to reduce carbon impacts across all our sources of emissions. Patient care and service improvement are at the core of our work. Achieving net-zero healthcare requires a range of skills and expertise. The NHS Scotland Circular Economy programme, working with wider partners across the UK, is keen to share knowledge and looks forward to working with Galicia. We acknowledge that reliance on global supply chains means that we are stronger working together and can provide clear market signals to our suppliers, accelerating and supporting change.
The Scottish Government gives thanks to the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office Embassy in Madrid, Scottish Development International and the UK Department of Business and Trade recognising the contribution made by them towards this joint work.
