6. The Family Law (Scotland) Act 2006, repealed the arrest regimes in both the Matrimonial Homes (Family Protection)(Scotland) Act 1981 and Civil Partnership Act 2004. It replaced them with a general attachment of a power of arrest to any interdict for protection against abuse within the Protection of Abuse (Scotland) Act 2001
