5. Conclusions

The Scottish Government considered all 39 responses received in response to the consultation process. Support for introduction of the Code was high, with over 69% of respondents supporting its introduction. Only 15.4% of respondents expressed that they did not support introduction of the Code.

The concerns raised by respondents have been discussed and addressed within this report, and the Code and associated reporting documents have been amended in light of comments, where appropriate.
