Building standards: procedural handbook - third edition version 1.8
Provides clarification on the procedures underpinning the Scottish building standards system as set out in the Building (Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2004 and the Building (Scotland) Act 2003 to assist with practical operation. Version 1.8 was in force from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026. This document has now been superseded by Version 1.9.
