This data protection impact assessment (DPIA) is undertaken in compliance with UK General Data Protection Regulation (UKGDPR) Article 35(10). This is an iterative impact assessment, which we expect to amend as the Bill makes its way through Parliament.

The Bill is due to be introduced in the Scottish Parliament on 08 June 2022.
This DPIA is designed to analyse, identify and minimise the data protection risks of the Bill ahead of introduction.
The DPIA, and other impact assessments, will be reviewed and revised in line with each stage of the passage of the Bill to reflect any amendments as well as stakeholder feedback.
