Update on Export Statistics Scotland 2019
The Export Statistics Scotland 2019 publication was delayed as the 2019 Global Connections Survey, one of the key sources for the statistics, was held back. This was done in recognition of the impact on businesses of COVID-19 and preparations for the exit from the EU.
This was published on Thursday 21st October.
Overview
The publication Export Statistics Scotland (ESS) is based on the Global Connections Survey as well as other survey and administrative data sources.
It produces estimates of the cash value of exports by destination and industry sector for all sectors of the Scottish economy, including the primary, manufacturing and service sectors.
This source should be used to obtain estimates of the cash value of exports.
