Unscheduled Care Advisory Group

Role of the group

The Advisory group will form a combined group across Health and Social Care who will set the strategic vision of the programme and national approach to unscheduled care. This group will meet twice yearly. 

The Unscheduled Care Advisory Group will act as the sponsoring group responsible for the overall delivery of the National Unscheduled Care objectives.

Specific reponsibilities:

  • agreeing objectives of Unscheduled Care National approach
  • defining and agreeing the strategic direction of business
  • ensuring the overall alignment of strategic objectives
  • agreeing the prioritisation of programmes
  • championing adoption of new initiatives and outcomes of Unscheduled Care Programme

The Group reports to the Health and Social Care Management Board.
