Bairns’ Hoose: National Implementation Group

Overview

This group was established in September 2024 to support the Pathfinder phase of the Bairns' Hoose programme.

It advises on Bairns' Hoose Standards in different geographical and operational contexts, working towards developing a national blueprint that can be adapted to local requirements. It also serves as a forum for resolving local issues which require national solutions and provides views and perspectives directly to Scottish ministers.

The group will support partnerships in testing and implementing the standards, with the aim of ensuring all children in Scotland who have been victims of or witnesses to abuse or violence have access to trauma-informed recovery, support and justice services in one child-friendly setting.
