Planning performance: high level group
Overview
The remit of the group includes supporting improved planning performance and linking performance with planning fees.
Members
The Scottish Government and the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities(COSLA) co-chair the group with the remaining members comprising:
- Heads of Planning Scotland
- the Society of Local Authority Chief Executives
- the Society of Lawyers and Administrators in Scotland
- the Royal Town Planning Institute
- Key Agency Group
- National Planning Improvement Champion
- Applicant Stakeholder Group

Applicant Stakeholder Group
The High Level Group is supported by the Applicant Stakeholder Group. The group is chaired on a rotational basis and also attends the High Level Group. Members include:
- Scottish Property Federation
- Homes for Scotland
- Scottish Renewables
- Scottish Tourism Alliance
- Scottish Land and Estates
- Federation of Small Business
- Scottish Planning Consultants Forum
- Confederation of Business and Industry
The groups meet on a quarterly basis.
