Residential Rehabilitation Bed Capacity in Scotland
This publication reports on the findings from a survey of drug and alcohol residential rehabilitation facilities in Scotland to provide statistics on bed capacity.
Introduction
The level of harms from alcohol and drugs in Scotland are high in comparison to the rest of the UK and Europe and cause avoidable damage to people’s lives, families and communities. Tackling the high level of drug and alcohol related deaths in Scotland is a priority for the Scottish Government. This publication builds on the data presented on residential rehabilitation bed capacity in Scotland in 2021.
