Aidan Grisewood

Aidan Grisewood was appointed Interim Director of Economic Strategy in March 2022, taking on responsibility for Fair Work in December 2022.

He previously held a number of senior roles, including:

• Interim Director, Primary Care
• Deputy Director, Tax and Fiscal Responsibility
• Director of Rail, Transport Scotland
• Deputy Director, Social Housing and Housing Strategy

Before joining the Scottish Government, Aidan worked as an economist at the Royal Bank of Scotland and in other roles covering enterprise policy and productivity at HM Treasury.
