Performance data for the Warmer Homes Scotland scheme which helps households improve their heating and energy efficiency.
The Warmer Homes Scotland scheme helps households in, or at risk of fuel poverty improve their heating and energy efficiency.
It also helps support our climate goals by installing more clean heating systems and reducing emissions through improved energy efficiency.
Originally launched in 2015, the scheme was relaunched in 2023 with increased funding for clean heating systems.
The attached data shows:
- household energy efficiency support by financial year
- types of heating systems installed
- regional breakdown of households supported
Where technically suitable, households are offered clean heating systems first. If this would increase energy bills, an emission-producing system may be provided instead. Most homes also get energy-saving upgrades, no matter which heating system is installed.
