Introduction

The UK Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026 Act (“the 2026 Act”) received Royal Assent (RA) on 29 April 2026. The 2026 Act extends the existing retailer register to make nicotine product retailers and herbal smoking product retailers subject to the existing register requirements for tobacco and vaping product retailers. This Final BRIA concerns regulations required to commence these provisions.
