Single Building Assessment programme: spending information

Spending information from the Single Building Assessment pilot, which took place from July 2021 to March 2022.

The Single Building Assessment programme started in March 2021, following recommendations from the Ministerial Working Group on Mortgage Lending and Cladding and a commitment to spend all consequentials received. An expression of interest stage opened in April 2021 and the Single Building Assessment pilot began with 25 high priority buildings in July 2021. Spending detailed in the table indicates the costs from July 2021 to March 2022.

Please see the table for a breakdown by spend on buildings in our Single Building Assessment pilot as of 1 April 2022 (end of financial year). This money was grant-funded directly to property factors to procure technical services to progress these assessments.

The pilot has provided us with sufficient information to expand the Single Building Assessment programme and invite more buildings into the pilot.
