Scottish Social Housing Tender Price Index (SSHTPI) quarterly report: September 2026

Quarter 1 2026 to 2027 Index

• the quarters relate to the financial year, i.e., 1Q: April to June; 2Q: July to September; 3Q: October to December; 4Q: January to March
• the provisional index for 1Q 2026 to 2027 shows a decrease of 2.1% from the previous quarter and an increase of 1.2% in the year from 1Q 2025 to 2026
• the index for 3Q 2025 to 2026 is now firm, based on 23 projects, it shows an increase of 2.1% from the previous quarter and an increase of 8.0% compared with 3Q 2024 to 2025
• the index for 1Q 2026 to 2027 is based on 8 projects and will be subject to revision as more projects are indexed
