Annex
For gas and electricity unit rates and standing charges in Scotland differ between PES regions 1 (North) and 2 (South) as well as by the presence of prepayment meter. The SHCS and this analysis assign per kwh prices and standing charges based on these factors. These rates are set out in table 8 and 9 below.
