Public appointment: Member reappointed to Public Service Delivery Scotland Board

The Cabinet Secretary for Health and Care, Angela Constance, today announced the reappointment of the a Member of the Public Service Delivery Scotland Board.

 

Member

Annie Gunner Logan brings considerable insight and experience from her former role as Chief Executive Officer of the Coalition of Care and Support Providers in Scotland (CCPS), a membership organisation bringing together Scotland’s third sector social care organisations.

Annie served as a non-executive Director of the Scottish Government from 2014 to 2023, and on the Executive Board of the Crown Office & Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) from 2019 to 2025. She is now a member of the advisory board of the King's & Lord Treasurer's Remembrancer (KLTR). 

She has previously served as a non-executive member on a range of public and voluntary sector boards, including the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) and the UK drug and alcohol treatment charity, Phoenix Futures. She has recently joined the board of directors of Scotland’s National Centre for Music.

Annie has a master's degree in Social and Public Policy from the University of Edinburgh.

 

Reappointment

This reappointment will be for 3 years and will run from 1 July 2026 until 31 October 2029.

This reappointment is regulated by the Ethical Standards Commissioner.

 

Remuneration

This reappointment is part-time and attracts a remuneration of £312 per day for a time commitment of 52 days per year.

Annie Gunner Logan does not hold any other public appointments.

 

Political activity

All appointments are made on merit and political activity plays no part in the selection process.  However, in accordance with the original Nolan recommendations, there is a requirement for appointees’ political activity within the last five years (if there is any to be declared) to be made public.   

Annie Gunner Logan has had no political activity within the last five years.

 

Background

Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSDS) was established on 1 April 2026 to drive transformation across Scotland's health and care system and the wider public sector. Bringing together the functions of NHS Education for Scotland (NES) and NHS National Services Scotland (NSS), PSDS combines expertise in workforce planning and development, digital transformation, service infrastructure and national service delivery. Established as part of the Scottish Government's Health and Social Care Service Renewal agenda, PSDS aims to accelerate "Once for Scotland" approaches, reduce duplication and support safer, more consistent, efficient and sustainable services for people and communities across Scotland.
