The Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care, Neil Gray MSP today announced the reappointment of Dianne Foy as a Member of the Greater Glasgow and Clyde NHS Board.
Member
Dianne Foy is a counsellor in private practice, with a particular specialism in working with neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+ and disabled clients. She brings this experience and perspective to her role as Board Disability Champion. Dianne has served on the Board of NHS GGC since June 2022, her prior Board experience was within the Third Sector, in the fields of severe and enduring mental illness, families and children, food poverty and women’s services. She is a qualified Environmental Health Officer, with experience in both public health and food safety and she brings significant experience of regulation, enforcement and risk management from 20 years working for the Scottish Environment Protection Agency.
Reappointment
This reappointment will be for 4 years and will run from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2030.
This reappointment is regulated by the Ethical Standards Commissioner.
Remuneration
This reappointment is part-time and attracts a remuneration of £16,224 for a time commitment of 1 day per week.
