Perceptions of Summary Criminal Justice in Scotland - Research Findings

This research findings paper outlines the findings of three deliberative workshops with members of the public in Scotland. It explores people’s understanding, perceptions and expectations of the Summary Criminal Justice System in Scotland; presents wider messages around how people view justice per se; and discusses what could be done to improve or maximise public confidence in the system.
