Planning Advice Note 2/2010: Affordable housing and land audits (partly superseded)
Planning Advice Note (PAN) 2/2010 advises on increasing affordable housing.
PAN 2/2010 is divided into two parts.
Part one covers affordable housing and is split into the following areas:
- introduction
- context
- delivering affordable housing through the planning system
- developer contributions to affordable housing
- off-site provision and commuted sums
- development management
- additional means of delivering affordable housing
- design
- monitoring and reviewing
- contacts and further information
Part two covers housing land audits. However, this has now been superseded by updated guidance issued in January 2025.
