This EQIA finds the Work‑related Stress Policy promotes wellbeing through early stress identification, supportive conversations and person‑centred adjustments. It shows positive impacts across protected groups, particularly for disabled and pregnant employees, with no negative effects identified.

Title of Policy: NHSScotland Work-related Stress Policy.

Summary of aims and desired outcomes of Policy: The aim of the policy is to promote employee wellbeing and create a supportive environment; increase knowledge of the causes of work-related stress; identify workplace changes to help reduce stress and; support employees to manage stress effectively.

This is a refresh of the previous Dealing Positively with Stress at Work NHSScotland PIN policy (January 2003).
