Information requested

You asked for the following information from between 5 May 2021 and 29 March 2023:

1. All Ministerial briefings relating to the preparedness/readiness of the Scottish Government, Local Authorities and all other public bodies regarding implementation of the UNCRC.
2. All Ministerial briefings relating to the preparedness/readiness of the Scottish Government, Local Authorities and all other public bodies regarding incorporation of human rights treaties.
3. All Ministerial briefings relating to the Incorporation of human rights into Scot's Law.
4. A list of all Government meetings Cabinet Secretaries or Ministers have attended regarding the Incorporation of human rights into Scot's Law.

Response

I enclose a copy of the information you have requested in relation to requests one, three and four.

In relation to request two, the Scottish Government does not have the information you have asked for because work has focussed on developing proposals for consultation on the content of the Human Rights Bill. As such, Ministerial briefings have not hitherto focussed on preparedness of duty bearers implementing the Human Rights Bill. As such, I hereby provide you with formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested in relation to request two.
