A list of Head of Education and the Induction Manager, for the scholastic year 2022-2023, for each of the Local Authorities throughout Scotland.

Please find attached a list of Local Authority Directors of Education in Scotland, noting that any list of office holders will be subject to change over time. You may wish to note that links to the websites of each of Scotland’s 32 local authorities can be found on the Organisations page of the mygov.scot website. Each authority will provide appropriate contact details on its website.
The Scottish Government does not hold information in relation to a list of ‘induction year managers’. You may wish to note that it is for each authority to develop structures that most effectively manage induction to meet local needs and circumstances. This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that neither the Scottish Government nor Education Scotland (which is an agency of the Scottish Government) holds the information you have requested.
