Project description:
The project provides a best practice example of both behind-the-meter renewables and energy use in the UK care sector. The micro-energy system installed at each site consists of a solar photovoltaic system and home battery arrangement. Residents have achieved reduced energy bills and the national grid has benefitted from reduced loads at a local level.
