Project description:

The project installed air source heat pump replacement heating systems at 11 ‘mini multi’ housing blocks owned by Maryhill Housing Association in the North of Glasgow, supplying low carbon heat and hot water. The project demonstrates the ability of air source heating systems in medium-rise social housing blocks and acts as an exemplar for other housing providers who own and maintain similar stock.

The project is expected to reduce carbon emissions by approximately 610,574 tonnes of CO₂e compared to the existing electric storage heaters.
