Information setting out how the Inspectorate uses Twitter.
HM Fire Service Inspectorate’s Twitter account @HMFSI_Scotland is managed by the Fire Service Inspectorate team.
Tweets will be about:
key publications and consultations
news releases
video, audio and imagery
activities of the Inspectorate team
sector developments and issues
We use Twitter as a primary communication channel for advising of report publications and inspection activity. We do not have a set target for how often we will tweet – it will depend on our levels of activity, and other industry activities and issues.
Following
If you follow us on Twitter we will not automatically follow you back. Being followed by HM Fire Service Inspectorate does not imply endorsement of any kind.
Availability
We will monitor our Twitter account regularly during the working week.
Twitter may occasionally be unavailable and we accept no responsibility for lack of service due to Twitter downtime.
@Replies and Direct Messages
HM Fire Service Inspectorate reads all Direct Messages and will take careful note of any emerging themes or helpful suggestions. We will also keep an eye on @replies and respond if we feel it would be appropriate to do so.
We do not guarantee a reply to any given DM or @reply and if you wish to contact us formally, please refer to www.gov.scot/fireinspectorate for contact details.
