Any Scottish Government documents that offer guidance in setting up:
- non-departmental public bodies
- working groups
- commissions
- any bodies that contain members paid to advise the Scottish Government
Response
We append a copy of all of the information you requested in relation to a) Non-departmental public bodies in the attached “Guidance on Establishment of New Public Bodies” in PDF format.
We include a copy of some of the information you requested in relation to b) Working groups, and c) Commissions in the attached “Arranging independent advice and making Ministerial Appointments” in PDF format. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because exemptions under sections 30(c) (effective conduct of public affairs) and 36(1) (legal advice) of FOISA apply to that information.
