The Cabinet Secretary for Net Zero and Energy, Gillian Martin MSP, opened the session and introduced new members of the group. Recognised the reporting of Project Willow being an exciting juncture for Grangemouth, with real momentum behind the cluster. 

The Minister for Energy, Michael Shanks MP, thanked all members of the group for their input into Project Willow, and EY for compiling the report. 

EY presented the findings of Project Willow, which have been published via a Public Information Document on the Scottish Enterprise website. 

The Secretary of State for Scotland highlighted the Investor Taskforce which Scottish Enterprise are leading to corral investment into Grangemouth.

Scottish Enterprise provided an overview of the approach being taken to triage interested parties in Grangemouth.

The Cabinet Secretary for Net Zero and Energy concluded the meeting by recognising the importance of GFIB in securing Grangemouth’s long term and prosperous industrial future.
