Susie Townend (Scottish Government) welcomed new members to the Programme Board and provided a readout from the GFIB Leadership Forum meeting held on 28 March. This included key actions for the Programme Board to consider, including developing a shortlist of low carbon projects for development in the cluster.
Item 2: Grangemouth Just Transition Plan
A Scottish Government official provided an update on the draft Grangemouth Just Transition Plan. This included a presentation outlining the scope and content of the plan, as well as a timeline of work undertaken so far on its development.
Item 3: Presentation from Aspect
A representative from Aspect presented the Programme Board with a summary of their recent work undertaken to inform actions that will comprise priority activities for the delivery of the Grangemouth Just Transition Plan. This included a substantive discussion around developing a thematic action plan, which will form the basis of activity that GFIB will deliver.
