Items and actions
Key discussion points
- final meeting with Minister earlier in the month highlighted and reiterated that the final report, as expressed in the Terms of Reference (ToR), is for the future host and that the Design Advisory Group (DAG) was not functioning as a “usual” Ministerial working group. That we look forward to sharing the full report with the Minister
- the invite to participate in national anti-racism infrastructure building conversations was extended to the Minister and was positively received
- off boarding of consultant staff successfully undertaken
- all required invoicing related to the project submitted prior to 20 December as requested
- the series of off boarding sessions provided by Dr Gabby Beckles Raymond were successful and discussed in some detail. The graphic design output for the final sessions was shared and thanks extended
- full detailed report submitted for copy edit and proofread and will be submitted on the 20 December 2024 as agreed. Thanks for all contributions to its development. Noted the inordinate pressures to produce such a comprehensive report in this time period
- discussion relating to the hard deadline of the 20 December reflected that project closure will realistically require contingency. We will be grateful for any offers of support during the transition period. It was discussed that the agreed series of future host and former DAG meetings will be resourced to support transition of expertise, knowledge and experience
- DAG welcome the opportunity to formally handover to the future host
- thanks was given to all those past and present who have participated
- noted that we await the confirmation of the successful host organisation and advised announcement expected early January
Thanks for your feedback
