Introductory remarks

The Chair took the opportunity to welcome group members and set the direction of the meeting advising it would focus on looking at some key points from the report that need to be further discussed.

Final report

The Chair thanked the Group for their comments and contributions to the report so far, noting that this should be finalised and submitted before mid-May.

Some previously flagged sections of the report were revisited for further discussion, which helped clarify certain points and gave members a chance to share feedback. This helped ensure that all Group members had a clear and shared understanding of the content within the report.

The way forward

The Group discussed their recommendation and the way forward in more detail, noting that there were some small details to flesh out before the final report is due to be submitted

The Group noted that they have a meeting with Minister on Thursday 24th April. This meeting will be an opportunity for the group to discuss their progress to date, findings and their recommendation for the way forward prior to submitting their final report in May.

Action: Draft report to be recirculated to Group following the Ministerial meeting.
Action: Group members to update report as necessary based on comments from today’s meeting which will be included on the document.
