British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses (BAMAN) extended consultation response: FOI release

Information requested

1. Recorded information confirming whether the updated and extended BAMAN response attached to the email of 14 February 2025 was accepted by the Scottish Government.
2. Recorded information confirming whether the extended version replaced BAMAN’s original Citizen Space submission or was treated as supplementary material.
3. Copies of correspondence, internal emails, notes, consultation records or other recorded information concerning the decision to accept, reject, validate, upload, code or analyse the extended response.
4. Recorded information identifying which version of BAMAN’s response was used in the consultation analysis and response published on 25 June 2025.
5. Records showing whether material contained only in the extended version was included in the consultation analysis or otherwise considered during the development of the revised proposals.
6. The recorded number of respondents who were permitted to submit, replace or supplement a consultation response outside the Citizen Space portal because of character limits or other portal restrictions.
7. Copies of any criteria, guidance, instructions or internal procedures governing the acceptance of consultation responses supplied outside the Citizen Space portal.
8. Records showing whether any other respondent who had already submitted a response was permitted to replace it with a longer or extended version. Personal information identifying individual respondents may be redacted where legally necessary.

Response

All relevant documents pertaining to the BAMAN consultation response were released under FOI reference 202600510938. In response to questions 1-8, excluding question 6, no additional documents or information was found when conducting searches for your request. As such this is formal notice under s.17 that the information you are requesting is not held by Scottish Government.

In response to question 6 we hold records that 14 respondents submitted via email rather than the portal for a variety of reasons. These responses were accepted.
