Public funds being made available by Scottish Forestry to support the new organisation Forestry Training Service UK (FTSUK): FOI release

In the latest issue of Forestry Journal I read the following article about the new training organisation called FTSUK: https://www.forestryjournal.co.uk/features/forestry-journalfeatures/26059557.forestry-training-service-uk-will/ 

The article states: "FTSUK has also benefited from financial support to establish the company from the Forestry Commission, Forestry and Land Scotland, Natural Resources Wales and Scottish Forestry."

As the Principal of a training organisation, I would like to request full disclosure of the public funds being made available by Scottish Forestry to support the new organisation FTSUK, both in the initial start-up phase and in future financial years.

The table below shows a summary of the public funds being made available by Scottish Forestry to support the new organisation Forestry Training Service UK (FTSUK), both in the initial start-up phase and in future financial years.

2022/2023	£5,000	This payment co-funded the short-term engagement of a Project Manager to take forward the concept of a National Technical Training Initiative.
2023/2024	£0
2024/2025	£15,000
2025/2026	£10,000	Paid as contribution towards establishment and function of new training service.
2026/2027	£10,000	Forecast and subject to final approval.
