I enclose a copy in Excel format as requested of most of the information you requested.

You asked for “total funding provided by the Scottish Government to refugee charities”, unfortunately we are unable to quantify that in full as a clear distinction cannot be made in all cases between a charity organisation that operates for the primary purpose of providing support for refugees and an organisation which operates in broader scope but also provides some support for refugees within its wider aims.

The table provided contains information on funding to charity organisation paid from budgets allocated to refugee and resettlement workstreams by the Directorate for Equality, Inclusion and Human Rights, which leads on Scottish Government’s refugee policy programmes, and funding made to charity organisations made by the Ukraine Resettlement Directorate during the period it was operating to coordinate the Scottish Government’s response to welcoming displaced people from Ukraine.

The data in the table includes a secondary line for the Scottish Refugee Council to make clear distinction between how much of their funding was from the Scottish Government budget and how much was redispersal of funds provided to the Scottish Government from an European Union funding source.

As this is financial data it is aligned to financial year format, rather than calendar year, so for example “2025/26” would mean the period April 1st 2025 through March 31st 2026.
