Interim IT staff services and interim professional staff services framework spend: FOI release

Information requested

Please could you provide an excel spreadsheet with agency spend by organisation for the following two frameworks between 1st January 2025– 31st December 2025?

• Interim IT Staff Services framework
• Interim Professional Staff Services framework

Previous FOI’s had a row for consolidated Scottish Government spend. Please could you break the Scottish Government spend out into the appropriate directorates for which the spend relates, please? For example, Digital Directorate, Agricultural and Rural Economy Directorate, Marine Scotland Directorate etc. Here’s a link to all potential directorates – https://www.gov.scot/about/how-government-is-run/directorates/

Please find the total spend for the Scottish Government in the attached Annex A.

Please note that the figures provided relate solely to spend under the current 4th generation Framework for Interim IT and Interim Professional Staff Services for the period 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025. This is supplied on a quarterly basis by the suppliers on the framework as part of the management information provided.

The Scottish Government does not have the information you have asked for regarding Directorate, Grade equivalent or length of contract. Agency staff are not employed by the Scottish Government, therefore we don't have them on our HR and Payroll system. This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have the information you have requested.
