Response
I enclose a copy of most of the information you requested as per the Annex below. This request has been interpreted to be all correspondence sent and received by DG Corporate Lesley Fraser in her capacity as the Director General responsible for the Scottish Government Core People Survey 2025.
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information you have requested because an exemption under section 38(1)(b) (personal information) of FOISA applies to that information.
An exemption under section 38(1)(b) of FOISA (personal information) applies to some of the information you have requested because it is personal data of a third party, for example the names of staff who are in grades below the Senior Civil Service.
Please note that the following five themes have changed in the Civil Service People Survey 2025 as some questions that had previously been used in the scores have been removed.
- My work
- My manager
- My team
- Pay and benefits
- Leadership and managing change
This is part of ongoing work by Cabinet Office and the Government People Group to streamline the Civil Service wide Employee Insights Programme. Caution should therefore be exercised when comparing this year’s findings with past trends.
