Information requested
Details and background for the former Minister for Housing Paul McLennan's visit to Ravenscraig on or around 19 February 2025.
This should include:
- a full list of participants at the event
- briefing documents for the Minister
- notes taken of the visit during or after it took place
- an agenda of the visit, including times and places planned for the visit
- all correspondence about arranging the visit or agreeing the details of the visit with Ravenscraig
- all correspondence about the visit after it took place
- all photographic and video material held that was taken during the visit.
Response
I enclose a copy of most of the information you requested in the electronic format you asked for. This can be viewed in the attached document.
An exemption under section 38(1)(b) of FOISA applies to some of the information you have requested. This section relates to personal information, with Section 38(1)(b) applying to personal data of a third party. Some personal information has been released, as this is held in the public domain and consent to release that information has been received.
This exemption is not subject to the 'public interest test', so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption.
Information that does not fall within the scope of the request has also been removed, and where email threads contain duplicate information, this has been removed, however you will be referred to the relevant document containing the deleted information. Please note that although hyperlinks to media files are included, the link to the WeTransfer file is not live, as the recipient in Scottish Government no longer holds the information.
