• As an executive agency, could you tell me, is your Christmas party funded by staff, or the organisation?

Staff Christmas events are funded by staff. As an Executive Agency, the Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) does not use public funds to pay for, or contribute to, staff Christmas parties.

• Has this changed in the past 2 years?

No. This approach has been consistent over the past two years and is in line with policy on the appropriate use of public funds.

• Has this been at the request of Scottish Government?

No. There has been no request from the Scottish Government regarding this matter.
