Information requested

You asked for the total spend on homes secured through the Rural Affordable Homes for Key Workers Fund since it was established.

Response

The total spend from the launch of the fund in April 2023 to 21 October 2025 is £2.851 million. The fund is demand-led, with uptake dependent on local authorities identifying and proposing suitable projects.

The Scottish Government continues to work with local authorities to encourage further applications and ensure the fund is used effectively to support local housing needs for key workers.
