You asked for the amount of PVG checks requested from organisations within the Sporting sector. On 8 October 2025 we asked you for more information that may allow us to assist with your request, including whether there were any specific organisations. In response, you provided a list of sporting types.
Response
While Disclosure Scotland does not classify organisations by whether they are within the Sporting Sector, I have been able to use the list of sporting types you provided to perform a keyword search on organisations who have submitted PVG checks to Disclosure Scotland in the last five years. This list will not include any sporting organisation whose name doesn’t contain any of the keywords you provided. I enclose this information.
