Information requested
1. How many times has the National Care Service Interim Advisory Board met since it was established, and a list of the dates of all their meetings.
2. Whether a trade union nomination member of the National Care Service Interim Advisory Board has been confirmed yet, and who they are.
3. A breakdown of all costs incurred by the National Care Service Interim Advisory Board to date, including but not limited to compensation/expenses/catering/room booking.
Response
1. The Interim National Care Service Advisory Board has met three times since its establishment. The dates of the meetings are as follows:
- 21 May 2025
- 24 June 2025
- 23 September 2025
2. Scottish Trades Union Congress (STUC) were invited to nominate a single board member to provide the perspective of the trade unions on the Interim NCS Advisory Board. Having discussed the option with care sector unions to have one place on the Interim NCS Advisory Board, they decided not to put forward a nominee.
3. As of 22 September 2025, the total costs incurred by the Interim National Care Service Advisory Board are as follows:
