Information requested
In FOI 202500464827 (Annex B), Transport Scotland provided data for Aberdeen City Council showing the number of concessionary bus journeys made using NECs issued by that authority, broken down by Young Persons and Older & Disabled Persons schemes.
I request the same information for all 32 Scottish local authorities individually, not just Aberdeen City. Specifically, for the financial years 2022-23, 2023-24 and 2024-25, please provide for each local authority:
1. The total number of journeys made using NECs issued by that authority, broken down into:
- Young Persons Scheme (under 22 years old)
- Older and Disabled Persons Scheme
Response
The information you have requested is contained in the document attached “Annex A”.
Please note the following regarding this data:
- Includes smart journeys recorded against a valid product that have been received and processed for payment by Transport Scotland.
- Journeys are based on the local authority in which the card was issued, therefore some journeys will have been undertaken out with the local authority area.
- This data is subject to change due to late data being received.
