Information requested

a/ A list of consultation meetings FLS has been involved with in relation to the purchase of the Glenprosen estate, Angus Glens.

b/ A list of consultees with whom discussions took place

c/ A copy of all briefing notes, speaking notes, emails and other written communication, including Whatsapp and text messages, to and from Scottish Minister Mairi Gougeon relating to the purchase of the Glenprosen estate, Angus Glens between November 1 2022 and September 10 2025.

Response

In relation to question a and b as a result of the confidentiality agreement imposed by the previous owner, consultation prior to completion of the acquisition was limited and only took place with a limited number of SG Officials on the broad principles of land use change. That limited consultation took place with officials from Scottish Forestry (SF) and Rural Payments and Inspections Divisions (RPID).
