Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002

Information requested

How many women networks does the Scottish Government have for civil servants, can you name them and supply the guidance for who can be members?

Response

I enclose some of the information you requested. The Scottish Government has two staff diversity networks aimed at women - the Women's Development Network and the Minority Ethnic Women's Group. There is no guidance pertaining to who can be members of the Minority Ethnic Women's Group.

The information you have requested on who can be a member of the Women's Development Network is available from: Correspondence regarding Gender Neutral Toilets and Sex Equality and Equity Network: FOI release - gov.scot. Under section 25(1) of FOISA, we do not have to give you information which is already reasonably accessible to you. If, however, you do not have internet access to obtain this information from the website(s) listed, then please contact me again and I will send you a paper copy.
