Public service reform summit costs: FOI release

Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002

Information requested

You asked for: the full cost of putting on the public service reform summit on February 17, with a full breakdown plus any outcomes from this summit so far.

Response

I enclose a copy of all of the information you requested in relation to costs for the event, which total £13,809.74.

The invoice from University of Strathclyde has been included to provide the full breakdown you requested. This was paid by ExecSpace. The Scottish Government paid the invoice from ExecSpace. You will note the total of these attached invoices, and the invoice from Lyreco is £13,671.08. A small number of additional reusable stationary items totalling £138.66 were also purchased for the event via Amazon, and so do not show on the invoices. These take the final total for the event to £13,809,74.

The summit was an engagement to inform the development of the PSR Strategy, which published on 19 June 2025. The Strategy is the outcome from the Summit. The Strategy is available to view on the Scottish Government website. You can also find it here: Scotland's Public Service Reform Strategy:Delivering for Scotland - gov.scot. Under section 25(1) of FOISA, we do not have to give you information which is already reasonably accessible to you. If, however, you do not have internet access to obtain this information from the website(s) listed, then please contact me again and I will send you a paper copy.
