Gourock to Dunoon ferry service levels information: FOI release

Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002

Information requested

The following requests were included in your correspondence regarding the advice given to Ministers on future Gourock-Dunoon ferry service levels:

I would be grateful if you could provide all environmental information analysis and information in respect to the impact of the anticipated modal shift as well as the impact of reductions to service levels.

Please provide any information, including the impact on subsidy levels and emissions, held by TS in respect to these alternatives.

Response

In regards to your first request for environmental information on the anticipated modal shift, the information we hold has either previously been provided to you as part of the “Additional Policy Background and Consideration” document or is readily available on the published Stantec community needs assessment report and the published community needs assessment feedback report.

Your second request for information relating to the impact on subsidy levels and emissions of alternative options, this information is not held. I can confirm that these alternative options were not generated as part of Stantec’s work and therefore not assessed in its CNA report.
