Information requested
The total number of exclusions the Scottish Government has requested for one of its policies or regulations from the market access principles as set out in the United Kingdom Internal Market Act 2020. Please provide the full correspondence detailing these requests from the Scottish Government to the United Kingdom Government since 4 July 2024. Please also specify the outcomes of these requests (whether they were granted or denied etc.).
Response
The Scottish Government has requested a total of four exclusions under the United Kingdom Internal Market Act 2020. The Scottish Government has not requested any exclusions under the United Kingdom Internal Market Act 2020 between 4 July 2024 – 16 July 2025, and therefore, no correspondence detailing such a request has been created within this timescale. This is a formal notice under S.17(1) of FOISA that the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested.
