Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002
Information requested
"I should be grateful if you would provide me with information on traffic accidents and incidents north and southbound on the A90 between Shielhill Road, just south of Inveraldie and the A928 junction over the last seven years, ie 2018 to 2025, broken down by date.
I am interested in the number of incidents and accidents, the number of vehicles involved in each, the number of deaths and the number of injuries requiring hospital treatment on each occasion."
Response
The records we hold relate to collisions where someone is injured or killed, and which become known to Police Scotland. Therefore, we do not hold records relating to damage-only collisions.
Please see Annex A for information on personal injury accidents on the A90 between the junction of A928 and Shielhill from 2018 to 13 July 2025.
Please note that the information contained within Annex A is based on monthly returns received thus far from Police Scotland. This presents an incomplete picture of collisions for recent months due to a slight lag between collisions occurring and records being processed and shared by Police Scotland.
