List of judicial office holders: FOI release

Information requested

Please disclose to me immediately any other list of judicial office holders, maintained by your office and available for public information and inspection. In the circumstances, an honest and frank admission that there is no such list available for public information should be communicated to me immediately by your office.

I enclose a copy of some of the information you requested in the annex to this letter.

The information we hold and maintain is for our internal use and not for public information and inspection but we understand that this is accessible upon request. The information being released is from the date of this FOI request (23 May 2025), and does not take into account any subsequent changes.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we are unable to provide some of the information within the document.

An exemption under section 38(1)(b) of FOISA applies to some of the information requested because it is the personal data of a third party, i.e. some names, ages and dates of birth. This information is identified in the Annex provided. This exemption is not subject to the ‘public interest test’, so we are not required to consider if the public interest in disclosing the information outweighs the public interest in applying the exemption.
